MT Aerospace Chairman Steininger voted into Chair of the Board of Trustees

21 November 2016 – The members, represented by Professor Pascale Ehrenfreund, Professor Merith Niehuss, Professor Mirko Hornung and a representative from TUM, have determined new appointments for the boards of Munich Aerospace. The personnel changes were announced during the 6th Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Munich Aerospace at the Airbus Conference Zone in Ottobrunn/Taufkirchen. More than 60 science, industry and political representatives were given information on the activities of Munich Aerospace on the Ludwig Bölkow Campus. Nine scholarship recipients completed the Munich Aerospace Scholarship Programme and received an official farewell. Professor Klaus Drechsler and Professor Hans Kappler moderated the event.[ more... ]

DLR Partner Event in Oberpfaffenhofen

17 November 2016 - On behalf of the German Aerospace Center, Munich Aerospace Executive Dr Johann Bals has invited 18 members of the Munich Aerospace Research Network to a tour at the DLR site in Oberpfaffenhofen. The programme included stops at the Robotics and Mechatronics Center, the TechLab, the hangar, the Galileo Control Center and the German Space Operations Center.
