19 November 2018 - During a visit to Ludwig Bölkow Campus, 30 students of the TUM Department of Mechanical Engineering gained insight into the activities and research facilities on campus. After a short introduction, the students had the chance to get acquainted with the study programme „Aeronautical Engineering“ of the University of German Armed Forces during a two-hour tour. In particular, the flight simulators attracted great interest. Afterwards, the group continued the tour to visit the aeronautics and space test centres at IABG. The students showed great interest throughout the presentations and asked various questions.
