The agreement was signed today in presence of government officials from Bavaria and Quebec. The collaborative efforts under this agreement will explore specific areas of mutual interest in the fields of green aerospace, autonomous systems, integrated systems, aerospace technology for public security and, lastly, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. As a result of fruitful exchanges over the last two years, this agreement will launch cooperation between CRIAQ and LBC, which is part of an important relationship between Quebec and the State of Bavaria.

"The collaboration with our German partners will have many positive benefits for the advancement of science and technology in aerospace. More specifically, CRIAQ’s contribution will create a greater proximity between teaching and research, which is in total alignment with our intention of developing the next generation of highly qualified personnel. We thank the Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie of Quebec for the financial support in the implementation of this cooperation in aerospace”, stated Denis Faubert, CRIAQ’s president and CEO.

“We strongly believe that this LoI will strengthen the already existing relationships in the aerospace and security sector between Bavaria and Quebec. Aerospace companies and research establishments will both benefit from this initiative”, state Prof. Klaus Drechsler, Member of Executive Board of Munich Aerospace e.V., and Alexander Mager, Managing Director of LBC GmbH.
